Dry Stone Wall Training, Glen Etive, 10th-12th October
This weekend was the first in a series of five workshops headed by John Diment in learning to build drystone walls. This project is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Volunteers who attend two sessions should feel competent enough to teach participants during the programme. Please see the volunteer training page for forthcoming dates!

In the beginning...there was a pile of overgrown stones...

The volunteers set about clearing the area.
And getting the first few chunky rocks in place.

Progress was good despite dark skies above.

The team motored on in good spirits.

Rock on!

Coming along nicely.

I love it when a plan comes together!
Thanks to Scott Keiller and Hanna Reichert for your fab snaps.
