Glasgow Adventure 1 27-31st Aug at Glen Etive

Welcome to Glen Etive...

The loch was calm and welcoming with a sparkle on the water.

but that soon changed!!

And then we were led towards our pot of gold...the Bothy...

but sadly we would have to wait a day until we arrived there.

So we took to the hills via the Devil's Staircase

and as the clouds lifted our spirits stayed high

and we took welcome sheltern from the breezy conditions

The sun was most definitely shining on Ahora

And the cloud came so low that Rhohi had to duck!!!

We finally got to the bothy and food was on our minds...

so we ate...

and then got a bit carried away washing up!!!

Im not sure which catalogue this lot are posing for??

The tranquility of team work....

dissolved into chaos!!

A walk up the hill chilled us all out ready for....

Then we sang so many songs our throats went dry...ace guitar playing by Steve

The next day after fighting through the Midges we did some conservation work...lots infact...but as we were all working soooo hard no one took the pictures!

  but afterwards we sure enjoyed the group massage.

and then our thoughts turned to baths and central heating and the long drive home...

...but we'll be back soon!!!
