Challenge Course 1 Glasgow! 20th to the 24th July 2011

This was the Glasgow team's first stage of the Journey...

and it was memorable!

Day 1:

Getting to know each other at Seamill Beach, playing games and taking in the scenery...

oh and setting our first group fire!

Day2:

Gorge Walking - Devils Pulpit all the way to the top! Even with a twisted ankle at the last waterfall (hope it gets better soon Dawn - the guys all send best wishes)

Days 3, 4, & 5 - the weekend at Stanhope Bothy. 

Time to learn to live in each others pockets...literally!

with 16 people round the dinner table there wasnt much leg room...

so we went outside lots and played lots of games!

Then went for a fab walk in the sun...all the way to Newholm Cairns Hill 637m

Collected PLENTY of wood for a big fire on the way back...Good work Paul and Sayid!

Then after a good night sleep and an early start we said goodbye for now

And ran away to play on ropes and wood at Wiston!

We all had an amazing time and the team are looking froward to the next stage of their journey and meeting up with the next group.

We would like to also thank all the Volunteers for all their time, efforts and support!......Thank you Gillz, Dawn, David (Cabs) & Gary S - we were a small team but perfectly formed!
