Venture Scotland Presentation Evening, Parish Halls, Glasgow, Weds 13th June

The young people who had been involved in the programme during January to June 2007 came together to make presentations of their experiences and to receive their many awards!

The Edinburgh group made some fantastic speeches as well as reading poetry composed up at the bothy.

Peter Wright of the Duke of Edinburgh Award was on hand to dish out the honours!

The young people received their D of E Awards as well as John Muir Awards, Canoe One Star Awards, Certificates in Basic First Aid and not to mention a snazzy red VS T-Shirt!

Ian Waugh one of our newer volunteers and Conservation Team Leader spoke about his experiences of volunteering over the past six months.

Kate Dix, our Chairperson received a plaque from Investing in Volunteers to mark our achievement of this award.
