Working Weekend, Glen Etive

All good things start with breakfast

Tidying up the roof ready for edging boards...

We also figured out the critical dimensions for the Rumford chimney and final rafters

Underlay! Underlay! Ariba!  .... several trips to carry in the cusioning layer for the turf roof.

and Voila....we give the bothy the red carpet treatment.

This weekend is dedicated to the scottish midge whose prolific appearance was particularly memorable.
