The all important safety brief at the start of day 1

Teams were soon underway

Conditions proved testing in some sections .................................

......................................................................and calmer in others

In some sections walking was the preferred option

                                   ................ but for the most part paddling was the best bet !

                                                 Are you still paddling behind me ?

So which way is down river then ?

Tired, but happy teams break for the bank for a well earned rest !
