Three Peaks Challenge

Joanna Wardale and her group of friends from Reading were looking for a worthy cause to support when they decided to take on the three peaks challenge (Ben Nevis, Scaffel Pike and Snowdon in 24hrs ). We were very pleased when they chose Venture Scotland. The group's girls team sucessfully completed their challenge at the end of June. The Reading boys are next up at the end of August !! Plenty of time to give them

some encouragement by sponsoring the team !

Fundraising Hall of Fame

Broughton Rugby Club

On 4th May 2008 over twenty players and associates from the Club took part in the Great Edinburgh 10k Run with the event sponsorship being split equally between Venture Scotland and Broughton Rugby Club. Bibby Financial Services will be matching any money raised on a pound for pound basis.

Joe Battle

On 6th April 2008 Joe completed the Connemara Ultra-marathon and all in aid of Venture Scotland. Not for the faint hearted this was not just the length of two marathons but run across three mountain ranges !! There is still  a short time to donate to Joe post race for his amazing efforts.
