Jane Bruce
Jane has a passion for developing people and enabling them to be the best they can be. With a background in people and organisational development, Jane's previous role was working for the 'super charity', Cancer Research UK. A firm believer in sharing best practice, Jane would love to hear from you if you'd like to know more about Venture Scotland's way of working or if you have your own ideas or skills to share!

Sarah Compton
Sarah is a keen athlete (currently training for Antwerp 70.3) and outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys inspiring the young people to improve their lifestyles and physical fitness. The office would collapse without her!

Vicky Reed
Vicky has a passion for sailing, canoeing and all things outdoors. Keen to work with young people and volunteers looking for new challenges.
Qualifications: Mountain Leader (summer), Level 2 Canoe Coach,Trail Cycle Leader, BA Psychology and Criminology. Post Graduate Diploma in Outdoor Education. Accredited Practitioner in NLP. Certificate in Counselling Skills. Accredited Practitioner In Outdoor Learning (APIOL).

Rhyddian Knight
Ever enthusiastic about Venture Scotland, Rhyddian is keen to see people develop through experiencing themselves in wild places! He coordinates our ''working party trips'.
Qualifications: Rhydd holds a BSc (Hons) in Outdoor Studies specialising in environmental education and has been active in the field for the past ten years. He is a Level 3 Open Canoe Coach, Mountain Leader (Summer) trained and an accredited Forest School Practitioner.

Peter Wooding

Volunteer Development Worker
Niamh Condren
Niamh is probabaly the least active of the VS staff but does enjoy the occasional hike up a munro and is working her way towards tackling the Atlas mountains in October...
Niamh has worked with young people for almost 10 years. She loves being a part of VS and shares their passion and commitment. Her role is working with participants in the "community" stage of the programme, and also co-ordinating the new Volunteer Mentoring programme.
Qualifications: Post-Grad Diploma in Community Education, Certificate in Counselling, member of the CLD Standards Council.

Volunteer Development Worker
Ray Gibson
Ray loves learning and teaching and the outdoors and has been working with children, young people and adults for a number of years in outdoor and environmental education, therapeutic care and youth work. Ray is our volunteer manager and also works with the young people from our 'Community' group in Glasgow.
Qualifications: Certificate in Primary Education Studies, Forest School Practitioner, Level 2 Kayak Coach, Trail Cycle Leader, Mountain Leader (summer) Trained, Powerboat & Safety boat driver.
